Paola Talbert: A winner of both the Gosford and Waverly Art Prize, selected as the People’s Choice Award for Art on Show 2001 and winner of the prestigious Pat Corrigan Artists Grant, Paola Talbert is an artist generating some well earned attention.
Talbert was recently invited to participate in and speak at 48 Hrs of Visual Art at Bay 2006 alongside Betty Churcher, Peter Garrett, Lindy Lee, Janet Laurence and Pat Corrigan amongst others. Her striking, uninterrupted imagery weave a silent narrative in her current series Muse which elevate underwater photography to new levels.
